E.P Carrillo La Historia Dona Elena (6.1"x50) - 95 rated - E.P. Carrillo delivers the goods. Owner Ernesto Perez Carrillo has forgotten more about cigar making than most know. He sold his well-known La Gloria Cubana brand 10 years ago and then launched E.P. Carrillo in 2010. And he’s done it all over again, patiently building another empire by crafting winner after winner. Headlining today's act is EPC La Historia, the 95-rated monster featuring a gorgeous Mexican San Andres wrapper concealing an Ecuadorian Sumatra binder and Nicaraguan and Dominican long filler recipe. Full of sweetness, it throws off dense smoke and a luxurious array of flavors including nuts, black pepper, and chocolate. Rich flavors coat the palate. A real treat. Full-bodied, full-on awesome. Box-pressed.
