Created in the humor of legendary cigar maker Jose ‘Pepin’ Garcia, My Father Connecticut Robusto cigars are a breath of fresh air. The cigar features an Ecuadorian Connecticut-seed wrapper, a Corojo binder from Nicaragua, and a binder made from Nicaraguan Habano and Criollo leaves. Attention to detail is almost an obsession with this line of cigars, with every stick triple-capped by expert torcedores. Hailed by the VP of the brand as the only cigar missing from the company’s fantastic lineup, Connecticut is a mild, silky approachable smoke. It was rated 90 in the 2015 issue of the Cigar Aficionado magazine.
